Fun with my iPhone

I recently got an iPhone when my other phone bit the dust (RIP Evo). The camera on the phone is incredible, and since it's pretty much always within a few feet of where I am, I take 99% of the pictures of the kids on it. Here are some of my recent favorites.

Our new family member

About a week and a half ago, Steve discovered a small stray kitten stuck in our neighbor's backyard tree house. It kept yowling and crying anytime it saw us, but Steve thought we should make sure the mother cat wouldn't be coming back to get it before we did anything. The next day, the kitten was still up there. After much begging from me and Ty ("Mommy, please you rescue the cat now?"), Steve climbed up a ladder and brought it down. He took it to the vet the next day, where it was discovered that the cat was completely healthy (no roundworms at all!) and was male. So Tommy the Cat, or Tomcat Araya King (oh, my heavy metal loving husband), joined the family. Poor cat. Lily likes to get him in a death grip to carry around the house, Ty just wants to cuddle with him, and the dogs want to eat his food and lick him.

Before we knew how old he was, we fed him goat milk from a bottle.

Sorry I haven't updated in a few months.  Life has been pretty crazy around here, what with the three kids and school.  Luckily we are starting to settle into more of a routine, and I only have one class this summer.
